This experiment will test the photobiology, respiration, microbiome, and gene expression responses of the aggregating sea anemone (Anthopleura elegantissima) and it’s symbiotic dinoflagellate alga Breviolum muscatinei to the multiple stressors of marine microplastic leachate and thermal stress.
